Yesterday (December 9th), the first Twenty20 match was played between India and Srilanka. Previously, India won the test series against Srilanka in Srilanka tour on India. India won the toss and elected to field first. Initially the srilankan openers played very slowly after that srilankan skipper Sangakkara played very well. Finally, in 20 over’s they scored 215 runs. India need 216 runs in 20 over with run rate over 10.75. India started up very well but lost sehwag early. After, that gambir played very well but he gone out. Soon after gambir’s wicket India loosed wickets at regular intervals. At the end of 20 over’s indai scored only 186 runs. Sri Lanka won by 29 runs.
