After successful completion of India vs. Srilanka test match and T20 matches, ODI series is started. The first ODI match is played in Rajkot - December 15. Srilanka won the toss and elected to field first. Indian team opened with sachin and sehwag. They batted slowly at the initial stage and scored runs very fast. At the end of 50 over’s, India scored 414 runs (sehwag 146, dhoni 72, sachin 69). Srilanka started up to chase huge target. From, the first over srilankans batted very beautifully. In one stage the required run rate is came to 6. Finally, India won the match by 3 runs.
