Most of us would have guessed who these devils from Delhi are, the Delhi Daredevils team of the Indian Premier League. They are an elite and ecstatic combination of a terror striking batting and bowling line up. Led by the devastating Virender Sehwag, who is known for his blitzkrieg starts and he is deputed by his fellow Indian opener Gautam Gambhir.

If we have glimpse at the structure of the team it is very well balanced both in the sense of batting, bowling and even fielding for that matter as they have three of the best fielders in the world in the likes of  Paul Collingwood, A.B.De Villiers and Tillekaratne Dilshan. The opening pair of Viru and Gauti need not be talked about much as they are the best opening batsmen in recent times. If the opponent team breathes free a bit on scalping both the openers early, they are not in for a good news as they have in form Dilshan and A.B. De Villiers coming in. A perfect example of such a rescue operation done by these two was during their match against team Chennai. They also have a good keeper-batsmen in Dinesh Karthick. To talk about the bowling they have the legendary Glenn McGrath, Dirk Nannes, Daniel Vettori, Amit Mishra and Pradeep Sanghwan.

So this gives us a clear picture about the strengths and only strengths of the Delhi Daredevils team and they are considered to be one of the hot favorites for the 2009 IPL title.
